We are located in Sandyford, Dublin. Explorium is easily accessible by car, bus, or tram. If driving, use the M50 motorway and take Exit 13. The Luas Green Line stops nearby at Stillorgan, with a short bus or taxi ride to the museum. Several Dublin Bus routes also serve the area. What hours are you open?

These opening hours are for March 2025.

Junior Explorium is open daily from 09.30 to 17.30.

Science & Activities are open on Friday from 15:00 – 17:30

Science & Activities are open on Saturday / Sunday & Bank Holidays from 10:00 – 17:30.

During school holidays Science & Activities will be open from 10:00 – 17:30 daily.

Please note that you should always check the website to see if tickets are available on the day and time you would like to visit, as areas do close occasionally for private parties or maintenance.
